Sad to hear that you’re not feeling well. It’s very hard to get any sleep here in the City Beautiful. (Especially if your circadian rhythms or whatever they are are telling you that it should be winter.) On the publicist front, podcasts are losing advertising and publicity support all over the podiverse, so I’m sure it will taper off to some extent in the near future. (Which is meant to be more factual than it actually sounds.) There’ll be a frenzy of publicists ‘working’ really hard to no effect, then they’ll all be asking whether we want fries with that. Hang in there. In the meantime, wake up and don’t give a fuck about the coffee – it’s better to read and rest.

A proper episode should appear from a less cranky John this Saturday.
