On this week’s program, I drive West of Orlando to meet up with two adventurers named Drunky & Rhiannon who’ve just happened to write the best guide to Walt Disney World as far is this show is concerned. We geek out about boozing like pros at WDW!
We drank outside at Hurricane Hannah’s,
and then we walked over to inside the Ale and Compass over at the Yacht Club,
and then enjoyed some beverages at The Belle Vue Lounge in the Boardwalk Inn.

The actual bar of The Bellevue Lounge.

NOTES
The Belle Vue Lounge is where I, sober, interviewed Ridley Pearson all the way back on #199.
This show did the Monorail pub crawl back on #77.

My favorite past time 🍻! So many cool and unique bars and lounges throughout property! Who says Disney is just for kids?
Certainly not me! And in the early days of WDW, that certainly wasn’t Disney’s opinion either. Check out “The Magic of Walt Disney World” on youtube to see. 🙂
Beside Trader Sam’s (obviously), what’s your favorite spot?
I had a friend who attempted to drink his way around Epcot. It was an impressive fight, he made it to seven countries before throwing in the towel. I never really thought about trying out the resort bars, what a creative and different way to experience Disney. It seems like a really great way to spend an afternoon!
Drinking around the World (Showcase) is a legendary practice, but the idea seems better than the reality if every country must be drunk in. I am not a fan of sake, and beer is not my style. I’d probably not make it out of Mexico. But I do need to try it someday. 🙂
If I had to pick and episode to highlight this show to other people, this is the one I would pick. ‘Best episode ever’ is an overused phrase these days, so let me say ‘best episode ever…so far’!
