Well, ‘schlock’ certainly describes this movie, if you can judge by the episode. What hath the 21st century wrought in terms of cinema? The important thing is you could bring some ferociously good analysis to it, which means I need never actually watch it but can plausibly say I have.
The more important thing is that you, John, tested negative for (the current variant of) COVID. That’s the sort of happy ending you don’t see horror movies nowadays, and maybe for the same reason: to leave room for a sequel. I hope that doesn’t happen to you.
Well, DJ, some horror films misdirect, so that a final girl’s survival is a temporary victory, but I am grateful. Thank you for your concern.
